Day 201 – Saturday 10th December 2016

Just another natural wonder of the world…
Today was without doubt one of the most incredible days that we’ve ever had. We woke up at 06:30, departed from Reef Fleet Terminal at around 08:00, and arrived at The Great Barrier Reef just before 10:00.
In total we spent nearly nine hours at sea, including stops at two different locations, one of which was exclusive to our group. I took countless photos and videos but it’s a struggle to get them all uploaded at once, so here’s a few of my favourites:

We had a BBQ lunch on board, followed by fresh fruit, cheese and crackers, then finally some goon (that’s cheap wine to anybody who doesn’t know), all of which was included in the price we paid. Jake also purchased a professional shot of him with a turtle, which we were told there’s about a 1% chance of us seeing. Check this out:

In the evening we met up with a few old mates from home, had drinks and played cards. It’s starting to get a bit weird seeing people from home, but we’re making the most of it while we can:

Give it another month or so and we’ll be travelling on our own as a couple again, so let’s not wish our time away eh?
